Girlology: Intermediate Health and Development

Instructor: Linda Charara

Course Description

Puberty is one of the most challenging times for girls. The body goes through multiple changes all at once as it makes the transition to adulthood. These developments can be accompanied by the added pressure of cultural and social expectations in adolescent life. Many learners enter puberty unprepared. Research also details how experiences during puberty can have lasting effects throughout adolescence and into adulthood. This program gives voice to girl’s thoughts and emotions about puberty, helping them gain greater clarity about the transition in a safe and comfortable environment.

Due to parent requests, I have divided the courses into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
