Youth Qur'an Appreciation - Girls | Boys

Instructor: Sayyidah Israa Safieddine

Course Description

There will be interactive lessons with the following objectives:

  •  Learn how to better navigate and study the Qur’an. 
  •  Build a stronger connection with the Qur’an.

The Qur'an

Ages & Prerequisites

  • This course is offered for girls and boys (separately or mixed, depending on group).
  • Basic reading of Qur'anic Arabic is preferred but not required.

Course Dates & Class Structure

  • Dates/times TBD (see our note about flexible registration)
  •  Number of hours dependent on group, level, and preferences.
  • Students are expected to participate in a number of in-class activities and discussions.

Additional Details

Attendance, punctuality, and participation are requirements for any effective course. More than one unexcused absence may be grounds for withdrawal. Students are expected to report anticipated absences as early as possible.

  • Minimum 10
  • Maximum 20

  •  Varies depending on class and group structure

  • All services are nonrefundable. We reserve the right to issue refunds in certain cases based on circumstances.

Qur'an Appreciation

Boys ages 11-13

Instructor: Sr. Israa 


Oct. 11 to Nov. 15, 2023 

Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:15 pm 

Six weeks 


Prerequisite: Ability to read Arabic (basic)

5:30 to 7:00 pm

Islamic Courses and Programs

Flexible Registration:

To bypass scheduling conflicts and to customize instruction according to level, most Islamic programming is organized by demand only. We offer you the opportunity to form your own group and choose a preferred time slot while considering the instructor’s availability. If you are interested in a course but have not managed to form a group, please apply using our form and we will work on merging you with an existing group where possible.
