Course Description
This course will focus on the Twelfth Imam (aj).
Time permitting, the following topics will be covered:
- The Divine Promise
- The Twelfth Imam's Character
- Signs of His Reappearance
- Occultation and Beyond
- Preparing for His Return
Course Book
A list of recommended readings will be provided.
Ages & Prerequisites
- This course is open to women 18 and older.
- It is recommended to complete Shia Islam 101 before taking this course.
Course Dates & Class Structure

- Ten in-person sessions ideally
- Students are expected to participate in a number of in-class activities and discussions.
- Students will be assigned weekly writing prompts.
Additional Details
Attendance, punctuality, and participation are requirements for any effective course. More than one unexcused absence may be grounds for withdrawal. Students are expected to report anticipated absences as early as possible.
