Participants will learn about some of the Islamic etiquettes of speaking and how to communicate more effectively. Participants will also have the opportunity to articulate Islamic concepts, practice speech skills, give feedback artfully, and receive feedback. This program is facilitated by Sayyidah Israa and consists of 7 sessions, each session being 2 hours long.

Oasis Speak Station - Women
Sacred Red Pen is a writer’s critique group open to women 21 and older who are serious about writing and publishing children’s picture books. Four to six women who are passionate about writing meet once or twice a month.
Typical agenda:
- Share news and catch up (~10 mins.)
- Introduce a children’s picture book (~15 mins.)
- Manuscript read out lou

This elective is offered separately for boys and girls ages 7 to 12 and is facilitated by Sayyidah Israa. The instructor will guide students in exploring and practicing different types of recitations such as Qur'an, nashīd, laṭmiyyah, and tawāshih. The package for this option consists of five 90-minute sessions.
